I installed and setup everything per the instructions. I had to make a few minor tweaks to the pitch curve and everything was almost spot on. It's been about 8-10 years since I've flown heli's but I was able to pick it back up in no time. The T-Rex is very responsive right out of the box. The kit is very impressive from the quality of parts to the detailed manual that has more than enough information to get you in the air quickly. I wouldn't recommend this heli to a beginner but I guess if you tone it down it would be fine. I would write more but I have a date with the flying field. ;) I purchased a T-Rex 450 SA a week ago. The manual was magnificient in explaning how to install the servos, reciever, gyro, ESC(Electronic Speed Controller), linkages etc., and how to configure your radio(transmitter) along with lots of pre-flight "prep tips".
